A game for two people who are done with small talk

Pull a card. Risk the truth.

Part date night, part emotional séance. Fated Truths gives couples better questions, private answers, and a shared reveal—without making connection feel like homework.

For iPhone · One deck, two honest people

Becoming

What kind of old couple do you secretly hope we become?

Fated Truths

Perception

What do you think I’m quietly wishing we did more often?

Fated Truths

Connection

What tiny thing I do tells you the whole truth about me?

Fated Truths

Sample prompts. Real sessions stay between the two of you.

How it works

Three moves. One evening.

No setup ritual and no worksheets. Decide the depth, answer honestly, then look at each other’s answers at the same moment.

  1. Choose the depth

Set the energy, length, and topics that fit tonight.

  2. Answer without performing

Write privately, pass the phone, or answer from paired devices.

  3. Reveal together

See where you meet, where you differ, and which thread deserves another question.

Five levels

Start anywhere. Go as deep as tonight allows.

Five decks, one system. Each level changes the temperature of the questions — never your standing.

  1. Perception

How well do you actually see each other? Cute guesses. Dangerous accuracy.

    Level one of five

  2. Connection

Drop the performance. Tell the truth that has fingerprints on it.

    Level two of five

  3. Reflection

Look at the relationship you are making together.

    Level three of five

  4. Repair

Name what hurts, what helps, and what repair could actually look like.

    Level four of five

  5. Becoming

Talk about the life, love, and future you are building.

    Level five of five

Levels are moods, not scores. Nothing unlocks and nobody graduates — play them in any order, as often as you like.

Private by design

What you say here stays remarkably close to home.

The plain version, without the cryptography theatre. Most of the app never leaves your phone. One optional feature sends a little to the cloud, and we say exactly which.

On the device
Most profile, history, preferences, plans, and session data is stored locally on the device.
App Lock
Optional App Lock can use Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode.
Paired sync
Optional paired daily-answer sync uses a private couple code and cloud storage so two phones can reveal together.
Your controls
The app includes export and permanent local-delete controls.
Reminders
Local reminders do not contain the question or answer text.

In the box

Everything the deck can do.

Real capabilities, shipping today — not a roadmap dressed up as a feature list.

  • Original prompts

More than 230 original and rewritten questions, plus timed and action-based wildcards for when a round needs a jolt.

  • Five conversation levels

    Perception, Connection, Reflection, Repair, Becoming.

  • Themed packs

Repair Reset, The Shared Load, The Next Chapter, Desire, Gently, and Where We Belong.

  • Daily question

One deterministic card a day, with an optional private 8:00 PM local reminder.

  • Two-phone pairing

A private six-character couple code links both phones. Each person answers privately; the answers reveal once you have both submitted.

  • Favorites and revisits

Keep the good ones, hide the wrong ones, get asked again in 30, 90, or 365 days.

  • Reflective patterns, never verdicts

Session history and pattern insights show what the two of you keep circling back to.

No compatibility score. No diagnosis. Different answers are invitations — not verdicts.

  • Plans and calendar export

Turn “we should do that” into date ideas and calendar-ready events — plus a JSON export of your whole local archive.

Tonight’s question

Try one before you download anything.

A single card, chosen by today’s date. The same question for everyone who visits today, a different one tomorrow. Ask it over dinner and see what happens.

The app deals a different card to both paired phones each day. This one’s just for the website.

Reflection

What similarity between us feels like home?

Today’s card

Pull a card. Risk the truth.

The next good question is waiting.

Bring one phone, two honest people, and however much courage fits tonight.
